Groups Working in Health Disparities Research

The California Pan-Ethnic Health Network (CPEHN)

The CPEHN site provides searchable databases on health conditions and medical care access based on race/ethnicity demographics in the state of California.

The group was formed in the aftermath of the Los Angeles riots 20 years ago, to advocate for policies and resources that address health disparities and the needs of diverse communities. Founding organizations include the California Black Health Network, Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, The California Rural Indian Health Board, Inc. and the Latino Coalition for a Healthy California.
