"Engaging Community-University Partners in Research: How to Make it happen"
Community Life Seminar with Guest Speaker Nina Wallerstein

"Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) refers to a collaborative approach to research that involves community partners at every step of the research process in addressing issues of community concern. This begins with community collaboration regarding the development of research questions, development of the research design, carrying out the research project, analyzing the data and carrying out any suggested interventions. Dr. Wallerstein will use this approach to discuss how to help empower community groups in San Bernardino and the surrounding Inland Empire to collaborate with CSUSB partners to address community concerns."-Public Affairs, CSUSB
