Improving Children's Health Through Community-Engaged Research

22-23 April 2010

This workshop will feature prominent experts and dynamic breakout sessions to prepare you for conducting team science. The event will focus on developing academic and community partnerships to improve the health of children and youth - through collaborative, community-engaged research.

A reception is planned for the evening of April 22, and the workshop itself will be held on April 23 at the University of Michigan School of Public Health in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The event is sponsored by the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) in partnership with Michigan Institute for Clinical & Health Research, Community-Campus Partnerships for Health, Washtenaw County Health Department, and City Connect Detroit.
